Hope Anchors The Soul

There are times when we feel that we've missed the mark.  We aren't  quite where we should be and the road to where we're going is to dark and long.  These feelings are normal, but we must not allow these feelings to become thoughts and our thoughts become words and our words actions until we're on a merry-go-round and can't seem to get off.

There is HOPE!  there is that deep knowing inside (Holy Spirit) that we are to desire with expectation of obtainment and expect with confidence (trust) the promises of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  He is always as near to us as a gentle whisper or a loud shout!  Just the mention of His name can get His attention.  Scripture tells us that the Lord will never forget His own.

Isa 49:15  "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her
womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
Isa 49:16  See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually

                 before Me.

How awesome to know that your face is inscribed on the palms of God's hands!  That everyday you are in His thoughts!  Does that stir up hope on the inside?  When you put your hope (trust) in the Lord and be of good courage, He will strengthen your heart (Psa 31:24).  When your heart is strengthened it will rejoice in Him and the crooked paths will appear straight, the long road will become short and the darkness will be dispelled in His light!  No matter what you're facing, fill your heart with Hope in the Lord, anchor your soul in that hope and pay attention to the shift that He will create in your circumstances.......just for you!

Psa 33:22  Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
